Hi Crafty Sprout Friends. Today we are kicking off another new feature that will be happening on the blog. Today we have Feature Friday for you, which means every other Friday we will be showcasing one of the Crafty Sprout stamp sets. *This Feature Friday will be replacing the DT Fridays we had last year*.

Super cute, right?! As you can see the Monster Kisses set has many cute versatile Monster sentiments geared towards birthdays, newborns and general. However, it is also excellent to make your Valentine Day projects a little extra special ;)

Our final card is from Carley. She gave us this uber cute monster card as a sneak peek of our next Feature Friday. Isn't he adorable and the sentiment is soo fitting.

Hi Crafty Sprout Friends. Today we are kicking off a new feature, Sprouts Edition Tuesday, which means every Tuesday we will be showcasing one of the Crafty Sprout gals. To start off our series, Sandra has her baby shower invitations to share with us.

For my project I made 30 baby shower invitations for my Princess themed baby shower coming up. I used 2 different Cricut cartridges to create these, Life's A Party and the Teresa Collins Sophisticated Cricut cartridges. I used my Gypsy to weld 2 onesie's together to create a shaped card. I put pink Stickles on all of the crowns and used an assortment of stamps from the "Rock That Baby Bump" stamp set.

Hi there! Zeni here wishing everyone a happy Tuesday! I wanted to share these cute bookmarks I made for my daughters who just love the Twilight series. I found the big paper clips at Staples and thought they were big enough to add something on top and use for a bookmark. The Fanpire set has some great stamps to create bookmarks for the little Fanpire in your life! Lol! I also used My Creative Time's Scalloped and Stitched circle die set.

Craftysprouts Recap Hop

Hello Crafty Sprout Friends. Thanks for visiting us for the past two weeks as we share our projects and hoped to inspire you. Perhaps, we shed new light onto how to use Crafty Sprout sets, I mean did you see how the Totally Witchin set was used for a Valentine project. Talk about wow! My DT has done an AMAZING job showcasing my stamps they are all fabulous and I hope you have enjoyed them!

We are here today to wrap up our Recap Event with a little mini blog hop where you will see new and favorite projects.

SO today I will be showcasing one of my favorite sets "Text Talk"! First I would like to share with you my favorite project using this set, this is a little journal I made for my daughter. She loved it and still uses it to this day!

This is the inside of the book I stamped each page.

I am very proud of this set because I drew the little cell phone all by myself lol! Now I created a new card just for this hop, it was inspired by my girl Jess!! I just love her cards she has created by stamping on Kraft Cardstock I love the look of it.

Happy Wednesday!! Today my wonderful teamie Gloria created a super cute project featuring Totally Witchin. What I loved so much about this is that she created a Valentines project using a Halloween set. Well in all honesty, some would say love is scary. Lol!! OK moving on... ;)

Good morning my beautiful friends! Zeni here from Scrappy Zeni featuring the Smile On stamp set from Crafty Sprouts. One thing that I love about this set is that you can make so many happy things with it, whether it's a layout, card or as I've done here an altered frame. I used some patterned cardstock, glued it and glossed with with mod podge to a plain frame and embellished. Easy peasy!!! The stamp set is great to use with pictures and I thought they would make great Christmas gifts. These were gifts that I made for my best friend and my mother in law. They both loved them! Please forgive me for the bad pictures... I had issues with lighting on this day. Hope you all have a great day!! ~Zeni

Have a Cool Yule Recap

Hello Crafty Sprout friends!! JESS here with one of the last few posts of 2011. The year is finishing up and us Crafty Sprout gals are taking a challenge break. Yay!!! Lol. We will be back with a new challenge mid January.

But since we didn't want to leave you all with an inactive blog until then, we are bringing you a Recap Event for the next few days. Our event is a reminder of all the Awesome Stamp Sets Crafty Sprouts has to offer and what you can do with them. Plus, some of the gals will be offering up mini blog candies. So lets get on with the show :)

I'm here bringing you a recap of Have A Cool Yule. I know that Christmas has just passed but because it just passed, we now need a place to record all the wonderful memories. I created a paper bag mini (one of the few that Ill be making).

I like this format because it can be kept simple or you can add on to it. This mini took several hours to make (but because I sometimes sit there and stare into space thinking if I should add an embellishment. lol) But if you have a paper line that you really like and you just want that to shine (no images or embellishments) then you can create the mini in about 30 minutes (give or take 10-15 min).

I originally was going to keep it simple and straight forward but then I saw the opportunity to add pockets and tags and I said, "Sure why not, etc etc etc" Ummmm, my etcs aren't appropriate here. Lol. These pages are the middle section of the mini.

Here are some of the tags that come with the mini. All images are from Simply B Stamps. I used the complete Jude and the Rockers Christmas line. Aren't they all SUPER ADORABLE in their footie pajamas. Squeal!!!! I just want to pinch their cheeks. This Christmas line is by far my fave from Jude and the Rockers. I highly recommend you hop on over to pick up all 6. The quality is awesome and you'll get a lot of use out of them.

Of course I needed to use Crafty Sprouts signature barcode stamp for the back of my book. It gives it that finishing touch. Now I just gave you a few peeks at what is inside my mini. Hey there crafty people!! Can you believe Christmas is a couple of days away! EEEK! It feels like this year just flew by! I am so ready to eat some of my grandmas delicious tamales and have some great family time!

Well today I have another mini calendar to share with you all. I just LOVE making these! I just may make a few more for my sisters hehe. This one is for my aunt Veronica, she is a HUGE twilight fan it is so funny I think she likes it more that her teen daughters lol. She is all about Edward and his sparkly awesomeness so I know she will aodre this!

I know you can't really tell from the pic but Edwards face is all sparkly I added stickles

this is the back of it, simple but I just HAD to add the fanpire barcode!

I stamped this on the inside front cover all sentiments are from my "Fanpire" stamp set. Perfect for those cute Greeting farm stamps!

A smile a Day!

Hello crafty friends! First I have to apologize for my absence these last few weeks. I recieved some terrible news 2 days before Thanksgiving that has really changed a lot of things in my life. My grandfather, the only "dad" I have ever known was diagnosed with Prostate cancer. When I found out I couldnt even breathe he is very important to me and I just can't picture my life without him. At first he was sad but still feeling ok but then over the last couple of weeks he has gotten sick. I have spent every free minute at his house helping my grandma care for him and getting him all his meds and making appointments. It has really taken a toll on me and I haven't had much time for crafting. I owe my DT girls sooo much for keeping things going! Jess has taken over my blog and has written many of the posts and taken care of prizes, and a bunch of other behind the scenes stuff lol Thanks Jess and thank you to all my DT girls for being there for me right now!

So lets get away from that sad stuff and get to the craft talk!

Today I decided to let my grandpa rest and stayed home with the kiddos, wandering around the house I found myself in my favorite spot, my craft room! So this is one of 3 mini calendars I have made for my mom and two aunts as stocking stuffers!

First this mini calendar is for my momma! She is pretty girly and loves soft colors I hope she will like it! Sorry about the glare I forgot to take off the plastic cover.

All the sentiments I used on this came from my Smile on! set.

I used different sentiments for each month

My mom's birthday is in March that is why I used this sentiment

I decided to make this super cute SUPER HUGE bottle cap magnet Set!! OK Twihards get ready to squeal lol! These are inspired by my favorite scene from the twilight movies the baseball scene!!I was going to give this away today but my little 15 year old cousin is not only a Twihard but a baseball player and I knew she would just love these for her room!

This is supposed to be Emmet! I tried to get the colors he was wearing as close as possible

I just wanted to share with you just how big these bottle caps are lol I LOVE them! The zebra bottle cap is a normal sized one that I used to make my jewelry with, now look how huge these are in comparison lol!They are 4 inches in diameter! I added magnets on the back of them so she can hang them on her magnet board! I hope she likes them!!

What so you think?? I still need to add the crystal lacquer on the inside but I try to take my pics before I do that because then there is a glare. OH I forgot the tin that they are going to be packaged in are from recollections flowers I bought at Micheals not a bad way to reuse they fit perfectly I just added the paper and stamp to the front and viola!

Hello Crafty Sprouts friends, Jess here today bringing you another Friday of uber cute and fun tags. Now wouldn't you know it, we all have Christmas on our brain. Hmmmm, maybe it has something to do with the fact that there is only 23 Days left. Ahhhhhhh!!! Ok ok no need to panic. Lol. Well on to my project for today! Ok so I think I told ya'll on an earlier post, but I am putting some stockings together for my Ashleys BFF's and I am making some things to put in them, I have made little pillow boxes with treats inside and necklaces. Now I made them this totally cute and "Sparkly" planner!!

It was super simple to make!! All I did was buy the little planner from walmart (it was $2.00) and modpodges the paper over it and decorated it! There is a little plastic cover that goes over it but I took it off for the pic, since it leaves a glare, I love it!! Here is the inside. I stamped "I hope your day is full of Sparkle" on each month, from my "Fanpire" stamp set!

I added my signature barcode stamp on the back!

Crafty Sprouts November Release Day 2

Ok so on to my projects for today!! My hubby has been feeling under the weather the last couple of weeks it seems like he may have a sinus infection (again), a year ago he had to have surgery because he had a severe sinus infection, which is scary. Now that he is feeling some of the same symptoms I can see he is worried and scared, but of course being him he tries to act like he is fine ( men lol) I wanted to make a card to cheer him up! Here it is..

He loves Nightmare before Christmas(thats me and him lol) I know he will love the card, isnt' the sentiment cute hehe it sounds like something those two would say to each other!! The adorable stamps are Jack and Sally Chibis from Simply Betty Stamps!

Now on to my Twihard projects lol, First I want to say that this stamp set was created for my Ashley, she is the worlds biggest twihard (sorry Carley lol) and she sweetly asked me to create this set, then she cried, then begged and finally jumped up and down and said please please haha! She is so in love with this set and says she plans on making some goodies for her friends with it! I felt so horrible because I didn't get to take her to the premier at midnight so I put this card and necklace in her backpack with a little note that says (be ready I am checking you out at noon and we are watching Breaking Dawn!!) I am sure she screamed when she read it cause she text me telling me she loves me lol!

This is a better pic of the second dog tag, everything was made with my new Fanpire set EXCEPT the I heart sentiment that came from my "Text Talk" set. I love mixing and matching sets to make new sentiments it keeps things fresh and fun!!

I hope you all like my new release I am really excited about it! The sets will be for pre order (there was a slight delay with the stamp company so they will not be ready til friday of next week), I will have them up on my shop later on this afternoon.

Happy Friday people!! So you read right Holly Jolly Zombies lol Sketchy Zombies to be exact!! Simply Betty has decided to Zombie-fying Christmas and I couldn't be more thrilled lol! Whoot whoo! Take a look at the super CA-UTE new Sketchy Zombie line that is available for sale TODAY!!

Well for my project today I decided to use all of the images to make ornaments for my christmas tree!! OOOH I just can't wait to put up my tree now hehe!

Aren't they the cutest!? I know that I just ADORE them and can't wait to make some more stuff with them!! I bought these HUGE 4 inch bottle caps off ebay they are soo cool!! I also used my "Have a cool Yule" stamp set for all the sentiments, Love the way they look!

Hey there crafty people!! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I am feeling a little under the weather, I tell you if it isn't one thing it is another lol. I am excited though because we will have our sneak peeks starting Thursday and an blog hop/ release on Friday!! Whoo hoo!! I just can't WAIT!!

Until then I wanna share some cute christmas cards I made using the new Christmas Jude and the Rockers stamps from Simply Betty!! I gotta say these have to be the cutest cuties EVER lol!!

Hello crafty friends! I am sorry I have been MIA last week and all this week, I had a bought of misfortune! First my computer kept shutting down as I was working on my new release and I had to keep starting over from scratch ( they are finished now :)), then my computer totally crashed and I had to send it in for repairs last Wed and just got it back a little while ago. Thank goodness for my awesome DT for keeping things rolling for Halloween week and Zeni for writing up the posts for me!!

Today for my projectI made 4 Halloween pails for my kids and niece to use when they go out trick ortreating! I am just loving vinyl it is so fun to use, I have so many ideas in myhead for projects to make! OK so this first bucket is for my baby girl Vanessa,she is going to be batgirl but in a pink suit and wanted her bucket tomatch, she's so girly lol!

This next one is for my baby boy Preston, since he loves to growl and scareeveryone I wanted to make him and icky monster one! He is going to be alittle monster so it matches him perfectly!

Now this one was made at the request of my son Phillip he is going to be awerewolf and wanted a scary bucket, this one is pretty creepy lol!

Last but not least I made this adorable little witch couldron for my niecetabby since she is going to be a witch. Her costume is purple and green so itmatches!! She loved it when she saw it she tried to stick it in her diaper bagbefore I got a pic of it lol!

We also have a very special guest today Mr.Crafty sprouts!! Isn't his cardcute! He did it all by himself on my gypsy! He made a card last halloween and the whole time he kept saying that someone needs to make a cucuy stamp lol! Well here it is and he couldn't be happier using it!

El Cucuy blog hop

Hello spooky friends are you ready El Cucuy is coming, well at least the blog hop!! If you are joining me from my buddy Elsa then you are in the right place. Well with Halloween coming up we are all ready or dreading El Cucuy, for those of you that dont know who he is well he is the boogey man! I remember growing up my grandma would tell us to go to sleep or the CUCUY would get us and now I tell my kids that, but it doesn't have quite the same effect, they just kind of chuckle! Today for my project I made this cute little Test Tube holder and card set to send off to my cousin, I promised I would send him a card and letter every week while he was away. He is only 19 and in the military and he is homesick. So I hope this will cheer him up!

HEHE EL CUCUY is coming! Look at those big eyes!

Didn't see that coming right! Isn't he the cutest little cucuy ever! This is one of my favorite stamp from Smeared ink he is a Grumpie, I got this set a while back and kind of forgot about them! Now that I found them I will be using them more because I think they are adorable!

Matchbook Treat Holder 'Tute

Hello Crafty Sprout friends, Jess from My Scrap Diary here today taking over Erika's blog. I'm bringing you a simple tutorial of a simple treat container, the Matchbook Treat Holder. ** Warning, picture heavy**

I know that sometimes, the goal is to create 50, 60, 80 treat boxes. I believe Erika created somewhere along those numbers last year. Therefore I'm here to give you a few tips on how to make mass production work for you.

Supplies:

Cardstock, Designer Paper, Scraps **For my project I used an old DCWV Halloween line**
Embellishments (such as: Cricut Cuts, Stamped Images, Stickers, Eyeballs, Twine, Ribbon, etc)
Tools (such as: Adhesive, Scissors, Scoreboard, Cutter, etc)
And of course Crafty Sprouts stamp sets, TOTALLY WITCHING and MONSTER KISSES, found Here.

Step 1: Cut your cardstock into the amount of strips you will be needing. For example, if you will be making 25 treat matchbooks then you will need 25 strips.

Step 2: Score all your strips. Fold at score lines and assemble them, as seen in picture. Now at this point you can say "Ok, I'm done". Let me add an embellishment and call it a day. Lol. That is totally fine, considering children just want the goodies. But if you choose to mat it then by pre-folding all of your strips, you move along quicker,

Step 3: Since you are working in bulk I highly suggest this step. This is where you gather your scraps (DP & CS) and DP that you want to use. *** I myself use 3 layers of double mats*** but if you want less or more, that is fine. Ok so I begin by labeling my cutting mat (please no judging my beautiful yet massively destroyed and well lived cutting mat, lol). I cut several squares of all the measurements you see. And I place them in their section as I go. This may be quick if you use fresh uncut paper and just cut away or it may take a bit longer if you dig through all your scraps.

Step 4: Once I have cut enough squares, I proceed. Now as I said, I use 3 layers of double matting. I begin by gluing down Layer 1(L1) which is the largest (2 &7/8) to the base. When i do this, I have it assembled so I can try to get a nice, clean border. I then glue down L2, L3 and L4. The bottom 2 are the Inner Layers 1 and 2. IL1 being glued to the base and then IL2.

Step 5: I also like to add a little strip on the bottom (because I just need that extra bit of work, lol). Afterwards, to give it a finishing touch I staple the very edge of the bottom. This helps the larger flap stay in place when being closed.

Now at this point you can say, you are pretty much done. You can add an embellishment to the front and attach your treat to the inside and poof, you are done my friend. :) It is embellish as you wish.

Here are my final products. I created 2 to show you different approaches. The one on the left, I made the sentiment the focal point. I think its uber cute, especially after opening it. lol. The one on your right (featuring Emo Pumpkin London, Simply Betty Stamps) uses the image as the focal point. In my opinion, this is a great image but ask me if I would use her to mass produce a large quantity...I would say, "Uh no." Lol. I love the look of colored images but they are time consuming and that would defeat the purpose. In this case, you can use already made embellishments or simple cricut cuts. However to make only a few, well then Pumpkin London and the rest of the Halloween Emos would look great!

Here they are open. Isn't that cuuuute!!! Ok Jess, don't be a big head, lol. But I really like the mini monters and this one was perfect for the sentiment. On the right, this pumpkin looks just a bit crazy to me and made me laugh out loud, so the Big Grin sentiment is perfect. Side note: May I just say that this chocolate is the best of both worlds. OMG!! I came across this one not to long ago and I fell in love. Lol. It is a snickers with a resses pieces cup inside. Yummm!!!! I'm still on the fence if I will be giving these out. They are too delish!!

I used my Monster Kisses and Totally Witchin Stamps sets for all the sentiments (on the inside of the cards I used TO and From, from Have a cool yule). The paper I used was from the Halloween and Fall stack from DCWV and I used my Fabulous Twinery Twine to tie the cards to the tubes!

Ok so wanna see my project lol! I am so super excited about this project! It was one of those things you see in your head and when you finish it, it is exactly how you envisioned it! That doesn't happen to me often so I was thrilled! Today I made this super adorable Halloween Wall Hanging! I think I may end up putting it on my front door because I love it so much lol!

Here are some close ups of each plaque. Love all those cute faces!

This was so fun to make! MY hubby cut the wood for me and drilled the holes and I did the rest, Great Team work lol! It was so easy to twist this wire too.

DCWV Fall paper stack (best Halloween paper ever)

Peachy Keen die Herby ( isn't he too freaking adorable!)

It seems like it was super hard to make but it really wasn't! It only took me an hour to put it all together! I think I need more of these lol!

Hello all my Blog buddies!! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I know I did!

First I want to thank everyone that applied to be on my Design Team! I was so excited to see so many people were interested in it! There were so many awesome projects and blogs I loved them all! It was so hard to choose. With that being said I have already emailed the Crafty Ladies I have chosen and will be making an announcement this week with my new designers! I have seen so many awesome projects using my stamps I am so happy and honored that so many people enjoy them!

Ok enough jibber jabber lol! Today I have this super cute tent card I made using my "Totally Witchin" stamp set , I must admit this is my favorite sentiment from that set, It was a request from hubby!I remember when I was a little girl my grandma would tell us that and now I say it to my kids lol! If you like this set and want it I only have 5 left in stock and will not have anymore in time for Halloween so now is the time!

Birthday Wishes Blog hop

For my project today I decided to make this super cute Tent card for Brenda! I love it and I hope she loves it too! I will be sending it out to her today!! Happy Birthday Brenda, thank you for letting me celebrate it with you!!

Here is a side view of the card. I altered two of my stamps to make this sentiment, that is the great thing about stamps you can always make new sentiments out of them!

Special DT Friday Challenge

Hello all my super crafty friends! Thank you for visiting us today for this very special DT post and challenge.

Well as you all know my super sweet friend Betty from Simply Betty Stamps has just found out her son Christian has stage one throat cancer, as you can probably imagine this is a tough time for them. Yesterday we had a special blog hop and auction to help raise money for his medical costs, you can find that post HERE .

Ok so I wanted to have this special Challenge that will last until Saturday October 22. All you have to do for this challenge is link up a card (any theme, colors, etc.) for Christian. Lets lift his spirits and let him know we are all thinking about him. You can send your card here.

For my project I created this card for my sweet friend Betty! I know she is an amazing woman and will be strong for her family but I want her to know she can always call me if she needs anything! I made this card using my beloved Zombie Teen Lola.

It is a trifold card! I just love the way this card looks! I used my "Text Talk" and "Totally Witchin" stamp sets but altered the ghoul friend stamp, it originally says lets hang out ghoul friend but since we are in different cities I figured call me was more appropriate. If we could hang out I would totally be there everyday lol! I hope you know you can call me whenever Betty!

Now we also have 4 very special guest designers today, my children Ashley, Daryl, PJ and Vanessa wanted to do their part and make a card to send to Christian too! They worked so hard on their cards all by themselves all I did was stamp the images for them to color.

The first two belong to my son PJ 9 (jack card) and Vaness 6 Ali card, the second two belong to my daughter Ashley 11(zombie dino christian) and Daryl 13(oscar). Little Preston made a card too but he decided it looked better cut up in pieces, but he did color it himself lol. I hope you like them Christian! They have all been sent out together for you, with a lot of love!

Are you ladies Ready to Rock? I hope so and I really hope that not only will you link up a card for Christian but also send it out to him. I know that getting all your beautiful cards will really lift up his spirits and help him through this difficult time in his life. This is what we craft for :)

Xander Zone Blog Hop and Auction

Welcome to the Xander Zone!! You are in for quite a trip through today's Blog Hop and Auction. Our dear friend Betty Roberts, owner of Simply Betty Stamps has just found out this week that her 17 year old son Christian has Stage 1 Throat Cancer. He will be having surgery next week and many months of Therapy to follow. (To read more from Betty on what’s going on please go HERE)

Betty’s DT and the Crafty Sprouts DT along with a few friends have come together today for the From the Xander Zone Blog Hop and Auction! If you are stumbling into this hop please you are in the right place, I am starting off the hop!

As you hop along today you will see cards created with Xander, the first in a new series to be released called “From the Xander Zone”. He is available with a donation to Betty’s family.As you hop today you will also see many cards and projects up for Auction. Christian will be undergoing Surgery next week to remove his tonsils and then the thrice weekly Therapy will begin on the tumor. His therapy could last for many months.

There is also a contest running through October 16^th and Christian will pick a random winner who will receive the whole collection! The details on the contest are at the SBS blog.

For my card for Christian I wanted to make something that was funny and will hopefully make him smile! I used one of my Favorite stamps from the Halloween Zombie Teens line "Trick or Treat Miller" I just love that look on his face, he looks like he is having a fun time!

The pumpkin is a window that has clear plastic on it so you can see through to the inside of the card, I used my Totally Witchin and Text Talk and Cool Yule stamps on this card.

I hope you like it Christian and it made you smile! I will be mailing it out to you tomorrow!

So along with our hop we are auctioning off some of our creations. I have 2 items up for bid! One is a set of 3 wiper cards that I have made using SB stamps here it is..

they will come with envelopes and lots of love lol

And the second item(s) I have up for auction is a set of bottle cap ornaments like these.
